The Agonist released the music video for the title track from their latest album, Orphans , released in September of last year.
“The story behind 'Orphans' was inspired by Shirley Jackson’s novel 'We Have Always Lived in the Castle',” says vocalist Vicky Psarakis . “It emphasizes the feeling of 'not belonging' and the social and physical isolation that results from it.”
“Although we have all felt excluded at some point in our lives, it’s important to remember that we are never truly alone and that there is always someone there for you. We are all ‘orphans,’ but we are in this life together,” the singer concludes.
